Patricia Flanagan, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, New Jersey Certified School Social worker, Certified School Supervisor, and Administrator.
She has devoted her career of over 30 years to working with children, families, teens, and adults using a holistic strengths-based approach to finding solutions that enhance well-being and improve quality of life in the home, school, world of work, and larger community.
Mrs. Flanagan works within the individual, family, and group counseling dynamic to build partnerships and collaborate with parents, schools, and the community to foster inclusion and well-being for all clients.
Her decades as a Social Worker on a Child study team, and experience as a private practitioner providing comprehensive mental health services to clients with neuro-developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges enable her to bring a knowledgeable and practical perspective to her practice.
Her knowledge of Special Education Law, IEP development, and the everyday workings of public education allows her to guide clients in developing solid partnerships with school personnel.
Mrs. Flanagan works with her clients’ strengths to build skills and coping strategies using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Social skills training, and Mindfulness Instruction in a fun, safe and comfortable environment. Mrs. Flanagan is available for Individual, Family and Group social skills counseling as well as school consultation, and parent education.
Her commitment to families and children with developmental disorders and learning disabilities continues in her volunteer work facilitating parent training and support groups in her local community.
